We are pleased to advise that all casual workers will receive a minimum of £10 per hour for any work they undertake for a University Department on or after 1 November 2021.
Please note that if you work for the Students' Union, they are a separate employer. The minimum of £10 per hour is applicable to any casual work you undertake for the University of Sheffield.
If you will benefit from this pay uplift, any payments made to you from November 2021 will be automatically adjusted and you don't need to take any action.
