Further to the communications sent on Wednesday in regards to planned changes to students eligibility to work (ETW) in the UK checks from next Monday (21st June), please read the following carefully. The Home Office has announced today that they are now extending the adjusted ETW checks to 31st August 2021. This means that the Student Jobshop team can continue to carry out adjusted ETW checks virtually and there is no requirement to carry them out in person until 1st September 2021. The Student Jobshop team will still be temporarily based at 301 Glossop Road and available for in-person walk-in ETW checks as well between 22nd June - 16th July on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1:00 - 4:30pm (no longer Mondays as mentioned in our Wednesday email). Our in-person availability for ETW checks after 16th July will be reviewed and communicated to you in due course.
