About The Role

About the role-

GPL204 Research Design for Geography and Environmental Science is a core module in which level-2 undergraduate students design their level-3 dissertation project and write a research proposal. Two PhD students required - one human, one physical or environmental science – are sought to provide support to students on the preparation of their assignment. This will be via Drop-In sessions which will take place face to face (timetable TBA) where the GTA will providing constructive oral feedback on students’ draft research proposals, risk assessments, and ethics application. 


Each will staff two 2-hour drop-in sessions later in spring semester, and each will have 2 hours of prep time to review relevant policy and procedure, and prepare any necessary materials between sessions. 

 
Pay: £21.25 per hour + holiday pay
Hours: Part time
