Job Description
This study will help analyse and detect disinformation narratives on YouTube videos. The aim of this research is to build machine learning models capable of classifying videos into a specific narrative class. The outcome of this research will directly benefit journalists as well as the general public. Moreover, we plan to also create models that can discover new evolving narratives, which would help in comparing them early.
Person Specification
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate student in political science, journalism or a related field.
- Strong English proficiency (native level)
Pay Rate: £17.58 per hour + holiday entitlement
Hours Per Week: 8-10 (average)
Total Hours: 10
Duration: Monday 12th January to Friday 6th February 2026
