The module is designed to introduce first year undergraduates to these and related issues.
The GTA will independently deliver a hybrid lecture/workshop session (2hrs total teaching, plus 7hrs of prep, week 6 of the semester). The first half of the session is a lecture, "Policy and the role of the plan", for which slides will be provided. The second half of the session is a workshop, "Making Plans", during which students will work in small groups and once again a plan for this will be provided.
The GTA will also provide marking of student assessment during the examination period (approx. 29 reports of 3,500 words) - 36 hrs including preparation.
