About The Role

Student Research Assistant 

The School of Law is looking to recruit a student research assistant to work with Dr Jonathan Collinson. The role is to assist on a piece of research on how inspection reports of the Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration have reported on children.
The role will be to conduct a search within inspection reports, and to find, extract and save in a logical, accessible format, references to children.
The role will suit someone who is detail oriented, and the ideal candidate will have a background understanding of the context of children's rights.

Person Specification
- (Essential) Attention to detail
- (Essential) Computer literacy 
- (Essential) Ability to logically organise data
- (Desirable) Prior experience of content analysis

This role is flexible up to a maximum of 35 hours and could potentially be shared between two students
